Welcome to the Thirty and Under in Nutrition and Dietetics (TUND) Member Interest Group (MIG)!
TUND’s vision is to enhance the opportunities for contributions to nutrition and dietetics for young nutrition practitioners. Our members are enthusiastic, dynamic leaders and innovators of all ages who value the unique contributions of young practitioners and are interested in developing richer relationships with other practitioners and with the Academy. To that end, TUND is an online MIG, with this site hosting resources for members like the ones displayed on the menu bar across the top of this page.
Below are a few of our plans for this membership year.
- Webinars: We will continue to offer CPEU opportunities for our members on topics such as career development, internship application help, and many more!
- Academy MIG Project: We are excited to announce the development of the State Networking Coordinator (SNC) position. In this role, coordinators will set up local networking events for TUND members to meet and discuss the challenges young dietetic professionals encounter and other topics. - FNCE® 2017: Get ready for the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo™ in Chicago, IL this October. We will have a booth at the DPG/MIG Membership Showcase and be participating in a Joint MIG Reception open to all members.This is one conference you definitely will not want to miss!
